Olympic-related

It was only a matter of time until something Olympic-related made it onto my blog. I’m actually kind of surprised it took me as long as it did. Anyways.

Originally I envisioned that the Olympics would be this period of total lockdown – where the normal flow of life, work and fun would come to a screeching halt as tourists ran amok through the city for 17 days. However, as I’ve come to discover, this is not the case. Instead I’ve found myself extremely busy both socially and professionally and, as usual, I’ve managed to completely neglect my blog in the process. Anyways, this is a photo I took of the Olympic cauldron (rather, the massive chain-link barrier in front of it) earlier today.
